Fairfield Plantation's Golf & Country Club was originally designed to serve property owners and residents, but today our club welcomes daily golfers and new members from outside of our gates. Our beautifully maintained golf course is 6,516 yards from the back tees and is challenging for the avid golfer, but also friendly to the beginner. Golf memberships are available and we have something to fit your needs. Not a golfer but would like to be? Fairfield Plantation offers lessons for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Private lessons can be scheduled through our Golf Professional, Julian Van Horn.

The Country Club Restaurant and Bar offers dining and cocktail service seven day a week in a casual atmosphere. With food ranging from burgers and sandwiches to steaks and seafood, lunch and dinner are satisfying meals, particularly when paired with your favorite soft drink or adult beverage.
Dockside Marina & Bar is located on Lake Tara offering great lake views, delicious food and live music on the weekends to property owners and residents. With both indoor and outdoor seating, Dockside offers year round entertainment just blocks away.

With three lighted courts available from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm, Fairfield Plantation's Tennis Club offers ample opportunity for property owners and residents of all abilities to play tennis. Courts can be scheduled in advance using our online Court Reservation System.
Fairfield Plantation's Tennis Committee works closely with the Recreation Coordinator and committee to plan and schedule community tennis activities. Fairfield Plantation is a proud supporter of tennis of the Bay Springs Middle School tennis team.

Fairfield Plantation offers summer swimming at two different locations.
The Recreation Center pool is a family-friendly environment located near a beauiful playground, basketball courts, and a game room. With a no alcohol policy and and family friendly music played, this pool is a favorite for families with children.
The Country Club Pool sees many families as well. With daily pool-side service of food and beverages, many families enjoy time combining dining and swimming. Food and beverage service includes alcholic drinks.

The Recreation Center at Fairfield Plantation is home to an outdoor pool, basketball courts, a playground, a library, and a community room, which is used for exercise classes, scouting meetings, clubs, and private party rentals. We also have a Recreation Coordinator that is responsible for overseeing all recreation facilities, but more importantly plans and conducts a variety of community-focused activities throughout the year. Favorites include the annual Family Valentines Dance, July 4th beach bash, Annual Christmas movie, and Halloween activities like the Fall Festival and Trail of Terror.
pickleball
In the fall of 2020 Fairfield Plantation finsished converting a portion of the basketball courts into three pickleball courts. Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, much like a wiffle ball, with 26-40 round holes, over a net.
lakes
Not one, not two, but three lakes are within Fairfield Plantations borders! Each of the three lakes has its own focus, but all three lakes provide beautiful views and abundant wildlife for lakeshore residents.
Lake Tara is our largest lake and is open for use boaters, skiers, swimmers and fisherman. Lake Ashley, affectionately known as the fishing lake, is reserved for use by non-motorized boats, kayaks and canoes.

Fun at the beach with only your neighbors for company? That is a dream come true at Fairfield Plantation. Although the beach sees its share of visitors throughout the summer, it is beautiful, comfortable, uncrowded chance for sun and sand. The Fairfield Plantation beach is open daily through the summer and is the site of monthly night-time movies, beach blasts, and summer holiday fun and games. The pavilion at the beach is available for rental during off-season; in season, it is available during non-peak hours for beach parties. The beach is also one of the prime viewing points for a Fairfield Plantation annual tradition - Independence Day Fireworks!
walking
Many communities have sidewalks along side paved roads. In Fairfield Plantation, we have multiple places to walk both along side roads and off the path in beautiful wooded surroundings. Our walking trail, located just down from the recreation center, is a half mile trail that meanders through the woods and alongside a creek. The Nature Trail was constructed by local Boy Scouts and includes several small bridges spanning the creek. Finally, there is a beautiful path that crosses the Lake Tara dam and continues to the beach.
